2007 has come and gone, and while it certainly was a
wonderful year, i'm very sure that 2008 would be fraught with
more awsome!
For those who are visiting this site for the first time:
Welcome! This site is much as yours now as it had been ours.
This site is much repository of gaming as much as it is an
open forum for all gamers--not just for those in iloilo, mind
you! (but it does make meeting up a hell of a lot easier if
we share the same city).
For all iloilo gaming enthusiasts who inhabit this site, old and new: we stongly encourage all of you to post some "how to" articles of your favorite game; preferrably its history and how-to-play rules, etc. etc. Type it. Copy paste it, it
matters not! (just make sure you acknowledge the original
source) It's all good here! And it's all here in
iloilogamers!
---------------------------------------------
This has been a long time coming. I was supposed to make a
long winded (but inspiring) tribute for those brave ones who
have made iloilogamers what it is, but i've hit upon a
stumper...
There far are too many of them all, and they have all done an
insurmountable amount of work to get to where we are now.
We have been knocked down many times in the past: we lost old
members to time, work, and other important RL
factors--comrade in arms who have paved the way for the rest
of us. Heck, we even lost some of the games we played, but we
always manage to get up, dust ourselved, and tread forward
every single time.
And along the way, we have found great new friends and played with new games.
In many ways, this site is for all Iloilo gamers, past and present.
And that is why when you
query for the word: iloilogamers, this is what you get:
Wow, page 1 na!
To all the gamers who made the difference and who kept the flame alive for all those years: you know who you are. More importantly: we know who YOU are.
It has come to my attention that some of ya’ll might think that whenever we have play schedules, some of you may think it as exclusive to the regular players of that game.
I will dispel that myth and outright say that it is not.
Anybody is welcome to join any Role Playing Game or Collectible Card Game that we have posted in this forum, so long as you are a member of Iloilogamers forum.
And chances are, that if you’re reading this, you already are a member!
Though to get straight to the point, i am mostly talking about RPG than CCG’s, mainly because of RPG's easy-to-jump-in system and minimal learning curve.
I do ask for one or two considerations lang:
Inform the Dungeon Master (DM), Games Master (GM), Storyteller (ST) (or whatever the hell they call it these days, lolz!), of your intent to join as early as you are able. It would only be polite or proper lang, so the GM can anticipate for your character in the game.
So, watch the postings lang, and join2 lang mga bords! Feel free to ask what you need (like how to make characters, level restrictions, etc.), even the obvious questions. Especially the obvious questions if you haven’t played that game yet.
So here is your armor and your repeating crossbow—start whacking those goblins!

So we all know that David Carradine died, but I would like to talk about another David.
I started reading fantasy during high school, and the first book that I picked up was Pawn of Prophecy, from the Belgariad series. I devoured the books in just a short span of time, and then read The Mallorean, The Elenium, The Tamuli, Belgarath, Polgara, The Diamond Throne, The Rivan Codex, The Dreamers and The Redemption of Althalus: 25 books all in all. Suffice to say, this was my introduction and gatew...
So my parents are away for the weekend, and I've decided to host a game night at my house. June 13, Saturday night next week, 7pm till sawa. Food and drinks are on me, meeting place CDM 6pm, with complimentary travel package and extra sauce.

Jp won Best in Costume as Yoritomo Kisho.
John won Top Dragon(unofficial).
lots of Unicorn, Lion and Crane at the Kotei.
on the funny side:
winning best in costume entitles JP to add the following trait and flavor text to Yoritomo Kisho:
Caregiver
"i care about my job, sir. i care about you"
