While for some who have watched Transformers II and say its great/idiotic/awesome/stupid etc., there's no denying this is the best clip of the movie:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT-nu-A3-hM

You can literally hear the male population in the theater paused, go into safe mode, and ctrl-c the scene for further refrences.

My two cents: great awesome movie if you leave your common sense outside, but has plot holes so big even Unicron couldn't cover it. It's a Michael Bay film, so expect lots of action and stuff that go boom, and storylines that makes you say WTF?!

Bumblebee dealing death and using mad muay thai skills ... weird yet thrilling, considering he's the most useless Autobot on the series.

Oh, and anyone see Devastator's cojones? Bwahahaha!

You're right Raf, it was both idiotic and highly entertaining at the same time! I woulnd't say it was a bad movie, but i can't say it was good either. Michael Bay's style of direction would appear that he wants to give you sensory overload so much so that you wouldn't notice the plotholes so big that Unicron could probably fit in it.

I don't think there was anything wrong with the story or script per se, it's just that the editing was a mangled mess. The movie at times feels like a multimedia collage that any college boy could have put together.

My reaction afer seeing transformers 1: OBOY this is the STUFF i have been waiting half of my life for! OMK my childhood fixation on gigantic robots have been justified! There IS a Kami!

my reaction after seeing transformers 2: Hmm. Nice.

No amount of sensory overload can cover up the fact that the post production editing needs a lot of work.

Still, it's still worth seeing in the movie. It's 2 and a half hours of slam bam action scenes!

Master Raf, my favorite scenes were when The Megan "transformed" from rough biker girl suit into a dress. In public. Aaaand when the Pretender Decepticon about to make out with Sam. She can do the tongue thing!

Plot wise the movie was ok, but not that deep for my liking. I mean from start to end on, you know that they're coming, and they're after Sam. I mean where's the plot point that makes you say "oh sh*t, things are going bad" ... then again I remember this is a Michael Bay film.

That being said, I also remember that wow, the autobots are more bad-ass than the decepticons, and kill with impunity and no hesitation.

And yes master Zands, not only did Megan change clothes in public, she can keep them clean using magic. On the final 30mins of the movie, there's not one speck of dust on the WHITE pants! In the frikken DESERT!!WITH EXPLOSIONS AND ALL!!!

And finally, my one and final gripe was the autobot twins ... wait, I'll call them the Jar Jar Wannabees. Good lord, is it too much too ask that Rachet and Ironhide would be better companions to Sam and Bumblebee? The dialogue wouldn't be idiotic, and there's tons of personality between the three ...

On the temple scene...

Sam: "What do we do? This is a dead end"
Rachet: "Let us perhaps decipher these heiroglypics, they might lead us the right way.."
Ironhide: "Dammit, let's not waste time here, Prime's dead, we need kick Decepticon butt."
Rachet: "Calm down Ironhide, violence isn't the solution to everything."
Ironhide: "It's does to me." (and in disgust blasted the wall, accidentally uncovering the grave of the primes).
Bumblebee: (Vilma Santos voice over) "Walang Himala!"

And that should alone should made Transformers II one the best movies this year. Instead we're treated with a low class Wayan Brothers production. Dammit, Bay could have saved the movie if only he made it this way. I could even accept Megan's magical laundry.

That being said, I'm going to watch it again, cause its fun. Brainless yes, but fun nonetheless. ( besides, my cousins are hankering to watch it again also). Its a good movie, might have been great, but in the end ... meh.

Ok, as a little brat who has grown up watching Transformers I say the movie is another clusterf*ck brought to us by the master himself, Michael Bay.

Technically here are my views:

Cool CGIs.
Nice action scenes.
and MEGAN FOX!

Things I'm not OK with:

The Twins Mudflap and Skidz.
Mudflap: I can never forget this guy, in the cartoon series he was like the Autobot Hal Jordan. Good guy turned bad turned good again. And he transformed into a construction crane.
Skids: I think he had a very short exposure in the series. All I remember about this 'bot is that he was a race car that denied a recruitment into the Predacons.

Soundwave: Screw technological advances! I loved old school Soundwave better! He was a microcassette recorder with cassette minions that made them great spies against the Autobots. Not only that! He had mind-reading abilities too.

Wheelie: This dude was a small car. But NOT THAT SMALL!

Starscream: OK. But the Starscream I know and love sounded like a girl and whined a lot. He also becomes Galvatron's first casualty during a "coronation" as the new leader of the Decepticons. Cybertronian cannon blast owned him really good!

Cool stuff to look out for:

Megan Fox changing in public.
Megan Fox on a bike early in the movie.
Megan Fox running in slow motion.
Megan Fox's leg being humped by Wheelie.

This is what I think though:

@stinkycat: alas, i missed Star Trek. Why was it shown only for 2 weeks?? Why??? Stupid Dan Brown movie made me miss Star Trek...

@Louie: Aba that was Wheelie to gale? "you go wrong way, you fool i say" Wheelie? I think the 3 Autobot motorcycle was Arcee. I've never heard of Mudflap and Skids before. Raf was right, they were the Wayans Brothers of the Autobots.

@Raf: You make the best lines evar! If they had this instead of the Wayans, it would have been much, much more awsome!

Will prolly be watching the movie again.

Soundwave was weird.

@Zands: Yes the 3 bikes were all Acree. Wheelie was the remote control truck. He was humping Megan's leg while they were talking to Jetfire.
